Stephanie Smith & Elias Meiri
Elias Meiri was born in Israel and has been playing the piano since the age of five.
Aided by his perfect pitch, he mastered the art of improvisation at an early age.

He attended the Talma Yalin Music High School in Tel Aviv and graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston. He played with various jazz greats such as Dizzie Gillespie, Dave Liebmann, and Steve Grossman in New York for several years before settling in Europe in 1988.

In addition to numerous performances with Timna Brauer, he also plays solo concerts and with his various formations. He teaches piano, singing, ear training, and jazz improvisation and devotes himself to composition, CD production, and sound engineering.

“It is an honor for me to be able to work with such an outstanding pianist and composer! Elias' passion and mastery for music inspires and pushes me beyond what I thought was even possible!" - Stephanie Smith

Live with Tim Proy

Tim Proy gained broad experience early on—piano, drums, vocals, composition, arrangement, and conducting—earning recognition through events like the 14th Marianne Mendt Jazz Festival and a studio invitation from Thomas Rabitsch. For Tim, music is about more than sound; it’s about connection—with bandmates and especially the audience, where the real magic happens. Tim and Stephanie first starting playing together at the famous Eden Bar, located in downtown Vienna in 2023, before playing at a variety of other venues throughout Austria.
"What I love about Tim is his easygoing nature, his committment to being authentic and his ability to "go with the flow" and have fun on stage. For me it's a great joy to work with Tim Proy!"
- Stephanie Smith
